PDN Top Knots Contest Rules

WHO MAY ENTER: Any photographer except Nielsen Business Media employee members and their families.

ENTERING THE CONTEST
A contest entry may consist of one image, or a photo series. You may enter multiple times.

ENTRY FEES: $35 per image | $50 per series $45 per image | $60 per series.
PhotoServe membership entry fees: $25 per image | $35 per series $35 per image | $45 per series.
. Submissions received after 1/5/12 will be subject to an additional late fee of $10 (through extended deadline period ending 1/15/12).

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

ONLINE SUBMISSIONS ONLY: To enter your submissions electronically, please visit www.topknotscontest.com and register. Once the registration process has been completed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Simply log in to the Top Knots contest Site, and follow the online instructions to upload images from your computer. Images formatted as a JPEG measuring at least 1,000 pixels on its long dimension are preferred. Images may be color profiled in sRGB, Adobe-1998 or not color-managed.

JUDGING: Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, photographic quality and effectiveness in expressing the contest theme. Winners will be published in the May 2011 issue exhibiting the TOP KNOTS: The New School of Wedding Photography Contest and also on the "Top Knots" Web site.

CONSENT AGREEMENT: Submitted materials will not be returned. PDN is not responsible for the loss or damage of any entry. Submission of an entry to the contest automatically constitutes the contestant's acceptance of all conditions set forth in the above rules. By submitting images you grant PDN the right to use the entry in exhibitions and promotions in print and online when directly related to the PDN Top Knots: The New School of Wedding Photography contest, for up to 24 months.

Entries not complying with the rules set forth above will be disqualified.

PDN is solely responsible for the administration of the contest, and sponsors are in no way affiliated with the contest or liable for any matters arising due to the contest.
